A university for the real world

Workshops for Years 7-12 can be booked through the STEM for Schools program, available from Monday to Friday during school terms. PD (professional development) events will be offered throughout the year for educators teaching Years 5–6 using the STEAM for Schools model.

STEM for Schools workshops focus on extending students' Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics knowledge to real-world applications. Workshops are half-day or full-day events depending upon your workshop of choice. Schools can request a booking for one of the following options:

  • one half-day workshop (approximately 2.5 hours)
  • two half-day workshops run on the same day (full-day visit)
  • one full-day workshop (full-day visit).

Workshops require a minimum class size of 16 students and maximum of 32 students. All bookings are tentative and subject to availability of university space and presenters.
