A university for the real world

Tinkering is a constructive approach to learning that fosters and promotes cross-curricula, creative and flexible thinking in the classroom. This workshop will engage students in a process of project-based learning through tinkering using a range of digital technologies, from MaKey MaKey to Sphero, Chibitronics and littleBits. Students will engage with these technologies through open-ended, dynamic, and collaborative activities, whilst approaching real-world challenges.

This workshop connects (but is not limited) to these areas of the Australian Curriculum: Technologies (Design and Technologies, Digital Technologies), The Arts (Visual Art), and Science (Science Inquiry Skills, Science Understanding, Science as a Human Endeavour).
