A university for the real world

Spectators are welcome to observe FIRST® LEGO® League 2017 at The Cube; an international robotics program, designed for teams of upper-primary and lower-secondary school students (9 – 16 year olds) to work collaboratively with their peers and coach. FIRST® LEGO® League challenges students to think like scientists and engineers and respond to real-world issues.

Teams of up to 10 students have up to 3 months (from August to November) to build and program their robot, and develop scientific and engineering solutions to a real-world problem, based on this year's theme: HYDRO DYNAMICS℠ Global Challenge.

As this is a special event, access to The Cube digital projects will be limited on the day of the competition.

Visit the FIRST® LEGO® League website to find out more about the competition. More information for registered team coaches can be found on FIRST® LEGO® League 2017.

Please note: Individual team judging sessions and the closing awards ceremony are for participants only, no spectators will be admitted.
