Family Fun Day

Join us for an extra dose of fun at the official opening of Draw It. Code It. | QUT Summer Holiday Program.

For one day only we will be presenting a range of special events including workshops and guest speaker interviews with the talented TV host, Lee Constable.

Activities from the Draw It. Code It. | QUT Summer Holiday Program will also run throughout the day including Design a bot, Sphero obstacle course, Code Coach and a hands-on Maker Space.

Design a character Competition

Create a character at any of the Draw It. Code It. holiday activities. A character is a person or an imaginary creature and can be entirely fictional or based on a real-life person, eg. a self-portrait drawing at the Art Museum, a puppet from the Puppet Making workshop, a colourful robot using the Design a bot template, a character created with craft materials at The Cube Maker space. The only limit is your imagination! The prize is a BB8 Sphero as seen in the Star Wars films and two prizes will be awarded to the most creative character idea!

This competition opens on 6 January
