Water works workshop
This workshop is designed to get students thinking about the importance of water quality including hands-on water treatment and testing. Perform tests for turbidity and pH and use microscopes to examine pond life.
Beginner level – no prior experience required.
- Learn to predict the result of an experiment based on prior knowledge
- Learn how to test water for pH and turbidity
- Learn to identify organisms commonly found in pond water, using microscopes
- Learn to compare your results with your predictions
