As a long-term installation, Micro-Folie Brisbane will offer different collections throughout the year. Explore at your own pace in the "free visit" mode or join us for themed events, study projects, conferences, school visits, or live performances.

This pioneering venture, supported by the French Embassy in Australia and the French Ministry of Culture, and led by La Villette in Paris, is an Australian first. QUT was chosen for its central location, accessibility to the public, engagement with schools and the world-class digital capacity and screen size of The Cube.

Launched in France in 2017, Micro-Folie has since installed over 400 locations worldwide. Twelve founding national cultural institutions collaborated on the program by giving free access to their collections: Centre Pompidou, Château de Versailles, Cité de la musique - Philharmonie de Paris, Avignon Festival, Institut du monde arabe, Louvre Museum, Picasso Museum, Musée d'Orsay, Musée du Quai Branly - Jacques-Chirac, Opéra de Paris, Réunion des musées nationaux et du Grand Palais des Champs-Élysées, Universcience and La Villette.
